Pamela Fletcher was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in February 2023.&nbsp;Fletcher is a seasoned executive with over three decades of experience across the automotive and transportation industries, with a proven track record of leading innovation, creating new, high-growth businesses, driving market expansion, and growing new revenue streams.In addition to the Lumentum Board, she serves on the Board of The Chemours Company and the Board of Advisors for the College of Engineering at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.Fletcher currently serves as CEO of Sion Power Corporation, a privately owned company focused on next-generation rechargeable battery technology. She&nbsp;was previously Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer and Corporate Innovation at Delta Air Lines, Inc., where she led Delta’s Sustainability and Innovation organizations in service of the company’s net-zero future. Prior to Delta Air Lines, she enjoyed a fifteen-year career at General Motors, where she held senior leadership positions such as Vice President of Global Innovation and Vice President of Electric Vehicles, among other roles.Fletcher is a well-known innovator in the transportation sector, having been named in Motor Trend’s 2018 and 2019 “Power List;” on Automotive News’s 2020 list of “100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry;” and on Crain’s 2021 list of “100 Most Influential Women.”&nbsp; &nbsp; Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Kettering University and a Master of Engineering degree from Wayne State University. She has also completed Executive Education programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Harvard Business School, and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Isaac ("Ike") Harris was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2021.&nbsp;Harris is a senior operating executive with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently Advisor to the CEO at ZT Systems, a leading provider of innovative compute and storage solutions for hyperscale data centers. He previously served as ZT Systems’ Corporate Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations from 2020 to 2022. Before ZT Systems, Harris spent over 15 years at Cisco Systems and Hewlett-Packard in executive leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of HP’s Global Notebook Supply Chain business and Vice President of Supply Chain Operations for Cisco. Harris currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Trajectory Foundation and is an active member of the Executive Leadership Council. Additionally, he was recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of 2020’s Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America. Harris holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) School of Applied Economic Sciences, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Loyola University Chicago.

Penelope Herscher was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2015.Penelope Herscher is a seasoned technology public company board director, executive, and entrepreneur, with more than 15 years of experience as a high-tech CEO in Silicon Valley and more than 15 years of experience serving on public company boards.Herscher currently serves on the Board of Directors of Forvia SA, an automotive parts manufacturer, SMART Global Holdings, a technology solutions company, and on one private company board, Modern Life, Inc. Previously, from 2004 to 2015, she served as Chief Executive Officer of FirstRain, a privately held company in the unstructured data analytics space, and as Chief Executive Officer of Simplex Solutions, a publicly traded electronic design automation company. She also held C-level and senior executive positions at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. and Synopsys, Inc.Herscher holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), MA from Cambridge University in England.

Penelope Herscher

Michael Hurlston was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2025. &nbsp;Hurlston is a proven technology executive with over 30 years of senior leadership experience within the technology industry.&nbsp;Prior to joining Lumentum, Hurlston served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Synaptics, Inc., a worldwide pioneer and leader in human interface hardware and software. Prior to Synaptics, Hurlston served as the Chief Executive Officer of Finisar Corporation, where he oversaw the company’s agreement to be acquired by II-VI. Before joining Finisar, he served in a variety of senior leadership positions at Broadcom Limited and its predecessor corporation across the sales, marketing, and general management functions, including serving as its Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Connectivity Products/Wireless Communications and Connectivity Division.&nbsp;Hurlston has served as a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Flex Ltd. since September 2020. He also sits on the board and is a member of the Compensation Committee for Astera Labs, Inc. In addition, Hurlston is a member of the Board of Executive Trustees of the UC Davis Foundation, the Dean’s Executive Committee for the College of Engineering, and the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis.&nbsp;Hurlston holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis.&nbsp;

Julie Johnson was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2017.Johnson is an established industry leader with over 30 years of product management, product development, operations, and technology experience. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Computing at Zebra Technologies, a global leader in enterprise-level data capture and automatic identification solutions. Prior to Zebra, Johnson held a range of executive roles including Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Verifone, Corporate Vice President of Product Management at Lenovo, Corporate Vice President of Product Management at Google, and Vice President of Product Management at Motorola.Johnson also served on the Board of Directors of Superconductor Technologies, Inc. from 2018 until 2021.Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from M.I.T., and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics from Albion College.

Julie Johnson

Brian Lillie was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2015.&nbsp;Lillie is a technology industry veteran with 30 years of executive and board experience in high-growth companies. He previously served as President of the Private Cloud Business Unit at Rackspace Technology, a leading, end-to-end multi-cloud technology services company. Prior to Rackspace, he served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Zayo Group, a provider of communication infrastructure services, where he created and was responsible for executing the company’s product, network, and software technology strategy and roadmap.Before Zayo, Lillie held several C-level roles at Equinix, a global provider of data center and internet exchange services, from 2008 to 2019, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and Chief Product Officer. Earlier in his career, Lillie held senior IT, Strategy, and Sales roles at VeriSign, Inc., and SGI, and spent eight years in the United States Air Force in space operations.Since 2020, Lillie also serves on the Board for Storj Labs Inc., and on the Board for St. Joseph Financial Services since 2019. &nbsp; He holds a Master’s degree in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Montana State University-Bozeman.

Brian Lillie

Paul Lundstrom was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in December 2024.&nbsp;Lundstrom is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in corporate finance, manufacturing, and business transformation across multiple high-impact industries.&nbsp;Lundstrom is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions. Prior to Copeland, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Flex Ltd., where he was a key member of the team that led the analysis, carve-out, and initial public offering of Nextracker, and served as a member of the Nextracker Board of Directors. Prior to Flex, Lundstrom served as the Chief Financial Officer for Aerojet Rocketdyne. Lundstrom started his career at United Technologies, where he held a number of senior finance leadership roles.Lundstrom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University.

Ian Small was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2018.&nbsp; &nbsp; Small is an experienced technology leader who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Blues, a leader in IoT connectivity solutions. Small is also on the Board of Directors at Snapdocs, Inc., a venture-backed company in the mortgage automation space and serves as an advisor to Squint, Inc., a privately owned company that uses AI and AR to empower workforces across numerous industries. From 2018 to 2023, he was the CEO of Evernote, a mobile and desktop personal productivity application provider.Small served on the Board of Oclaro, Inc. from September 2017 until its acquisition by Lumentum in December 2018, and from April 2014 until July 2018, was Chairman of the Board of TokBox, a platform-as-a-service provider of embedded video communications. From 2013 to 2016, he held a variety of executive positions at Telefónica S.A., a global broadband and telecommunications provider, including serving as its Global Chief Data Officer. From 2009 to 2014, he served as the CEO of TokBox, which was acquired by Telefónica in 2012 and subsequently by Vonage in 2018.Small holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.

Thad Trent was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2025.&nbsp;Trent brings deep financial leadership and operational expertise to the Board, with a proven track record in driving financial performance, operational excellence, robust regulatory compliance, and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions across the semiconductor industry.Trent currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ON Semiconductor Corporation (onsemi), a global leader of semiconductor technologies, a role he has held since February 2021. Prior to joining onsemi, Trent was Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from 2014 until its acquisition by Infineon Technologies AG in 2020, and was Vice President, Finance from 2005 to 2014. He held earlier finance leadership roles at Wind River Systems, Inc. and Wyle Electronics.He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Leia Inc. and previously served on the boards of several privately held companies.Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from San Diego State University.

Wajid Ali joined Lumentum in February 2019. &nbsp;Ali is a seasoned public company CFO with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He is responsible for overseeing Lumentum's overall financial operations, including leading the FP&amp;A, Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Tax and Audit functions.Before joining Lumentum, Ali was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Synaptics. Before Synaptics, Ali was Vice President and Controller at Teledyne Technologies. Prior to Teledyne, he served as Chief Financial Officer at DALSA Corp., a semiconductor company that was acquired by Teledyne in 2011. Ali also held key financial management positions at AMD and ATI, overseeing the finance functions for large business groups.&nbsp;Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from York University; a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business, York University; and CPA and CMA designations from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, Canada.

Wajid Ali

John Bagatelos is Lumentum’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In this role, he oversees global sales strategy, customer engagement, and revenue growth across the company’s market segments. &nbsp;Joining Lumentum in March 2025, Bagatelos brings more than two decades of leadership and sales experience to Lumentum. Prior to joining, he served as Vice President of Sales and Applications at Monolithic Power Systems, where he led an organization of direct, representative, and channel sales teams—helping drive revenue growth from $34 million to over $1.4 billion. He has also held senior sales roles at ON Semiconductor, T3 Technical, and AMD, consistently driving revenue expansion and forging high-impact customer partnerships.In addition to his responsibilities at Lumentum, Bagatelos has been a member of the Board of Advisors for UCOM Pacific since January 2022.Bagatelos holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento, and resides in Northern California with his family.

Joining Lumentum in March 2025, Michael Brooker brings 20 years of senior leadership experience in leveraging information technology to drive business transformation and operational excellence. &nbsp;Before joining Lumentum, Brooker spent the past decade in key leadership roles at Synaptics, where he served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, and most recently as Chief Transformation Officer. In these roles, he oversaw IT, New Product Introduction, and Supply Chain, driving strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and enhance efficiency. Prior to Synaptics, he was Vice President of Information Technology Operations at Atmel Corporation, leading critical IT functions to support the company’s growth and technological advancements.Earlier in his career, Brooker founded and led a technology consulting firm focused on IT transformation. Before that, he held the role of Vice President of Strategic Projects at Idea Integration, where he spearheaded large-scale technology and business initiatives.Brooker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Griffith University (Australia) and an MBA from Curtin University of Technology (Australia). He is qualified as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Joining Lumentum in September 2025, Jeff Brown leads the company’s global wafer fabrication strategy and operations. He is responsible for fab technology, site performance, and ensuring readiness across Lumentum’s worldwide manufacturing footprint.Brown brings nearly 30 years of semiconductor industry experience, combining deep technical expertise with large-scale operational leadership. Prior to Lumentum, he served as Global Vice President of Sensing Operations and Engineering at Coherent (formerly II-VI and Finisar), leading operations and R&amp;D for an optoelectronic device business spanning five global manufacturing sites. Earlier in his career, he built Finisar’s Sherman, Texas wafer fab from the ground up—transforming a 700,000 square-foot facility into a high-volume VCSEL production site qualified for a leading mobile handset customer. His career also includes engineering and leadership roles at Skyworks, RFMD (now Qorvo), and Nitronex, with a focus on GaAs and GaN technologies for RF and photonics applications. &nbsp;He most recently served in advisory roles to several semiconductor and technology startups, including Lynceus, PseudolithIC, Elevated Materials, and OCTRIC.Brown holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Physics, as well as a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Jeff Brown

Joining Lumentum in September 2025, KW Hoo is responsible for overseeing the company’s global manufacturing operations, including strategic site leadership, factory performance, and operational scalability to support Lumentum’s business growth. &nbsp;Hoo brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in high-tech manufacturing, spanning optical components, semiconductors, and photonics. Prior to rejoining Lumentum in this role, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Jabil Photonics, where he led the business from $120 million to nearly $600 million in annual revenue. He spearheaded the acquisition of Intel’s Silicon Photonics Transceiver business and oversaw global manufacturing expansion into India and Canada. Earlier in his career, Hoo held senior leadership roles at Finisar, where he built and scaled its Malaysia operations from a greenfield site to a $750 million business with over 7,000 employees, and previously helped establish Lumentum’s first in-house factory in Thailand during his earlier tenure with the company.Hoo holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

KW Hoo

Jae Kim joined Lumentum in March 2024. &nbsp;Kim is a legal industry veteran with over 25 years of experience providing both in-house corporate counsel and client-facing legal services. He is responsible for leading Lumentum’s Legal department, including Corporate Affairs, Commercial Transactions, Trade Compliance, and Intellectual Property. Kim is also responsible for Facilities, Real Estate, and Security.Prior to Lumentum, Kim served as Chief Administrative and Legal Officer at GlobalLogic Inc., a Hitachi Group Company. In this role, he oversaw all corporate legal matters, as well as Governance, Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance, Compliance, Facilities, and Employee Services. Prior to GlobalLogic, he was SVP and General Counsel at Rambus, Inc., responsible for all legal matters including Litigation, IP development, M&amp;A, Corporate Governance, and Compliance.&nbsp;Earlier in his career, Kim held senior legal roles at Altran/Aricent and Electronics for Imaging, Inc. He also served as an attorney for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and as an attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Washington College of Law at American University. He is a member of the California and New York State Bars.

Heather Paschall has been with Lumentum since 2016. &nbsp;Paschall leads the company’s global human resources strategy and initiatives. She brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience across diverse technology organizations, with deep expertise in HR business partnering, talent management, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and M&amp;A.Prior to her current role, Paschall served as Group Vice President of Global HR Business Partners at Lumentum. In that capacity she oversaw HR for major M&amp;A activities and spearheaded global workforce expansions—including establishing a new manufacturing site in Thailand.Earlier in her career, Paschall held senior HR roles at Viavi Solutions/JDS Uniphase, Medtronic, and National Semiconductor, consistently driving high-impact employee engagement, leadership development, and operational excellence.Paschall earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Vince Retort has been with Lumentum since 2015. &nbsp;Retort is an industry veteran with over 35 years of experience in the high-tech sector. He is currently Lumentum’s Executive Vice President, Module Business Unit R&amp;D and Product Development.&nbsp;Prior to this role, Retort served as President of Lumentum’s Industrial Tech Platform and Chief Business Officer. In addition, Retort oversaw and set strategic direction for all Lumentum business units as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has been an instrumental leader at the company, having run R&amp;D, Operations, and both the Telecom Transmission and 3D Sensing business units at various times since Lumentum’s spinoff from JDSU.&nbsp;Retort joined JDSU in June 2008. &nbsp;He was previously Senior Vice President of Research and Development at JDSU and established a global R&amp;D organization aligned with JDSU's technology and product portfolio for Optical Communications and Commercial Lasers.&nbsp;Before joining JDSU, Retort held executive level positions in Engineering at NeoPhotonics, Seagate Technologies, and Lightwave Microsystems Corporation, with an emphasis on new product development and customer collaboration. Retort also had an 11-year career at Read-Rite Corporation, leading Product Engineering, Test Development, Failure Analysis, and Program Management.Retort holds a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from West Virginia University.

Joining Lumentum in April 2025, Rafik Ward is responsible for driving the company’s global marketing strategy and corporate growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and market development.&nbsp;Ward brings over 20 years of high-tech leadership experience in the optics and photonics industries. Before joining Lumentum, he served as CEO of Early Light Consulting, advising technology startups and private equity firms on complex strategic and operational challenges. He previously held a series of senior executive roles at Finisar (now Coherent), including Chief Strategy Officer, Business Unit GM, and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. During his tenure, he helped grow the company from $120 million to $1.4 billion in annual revenue and played a pivotal role in Finisar’s rise to #1 global market share in the optical module market.Ward holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Rafik Ward

Wupen Yuen joined Lumentum in August 2022.&nbsp;Yuen is a deep technologist and established industry leader with over 25 years of experience in the photonics space. He is currently the President of Lumentum’s Global Business Units.&nbsp;Prior to this role, Yuen served as President of Lumentum’s Cloud and Networking Platform.&nbsp;Yuen joined the company through Lumentum’s acquisition of NeoPhotonics, where he had been Chief Product Officer since 2018, and Senior Vice President and General Manager since 2014. From 2005 to 2014, Yuen held numerous leadership roles within NeoPhotonics, including Senior Vice President of Product and Technology Development, Vice President of Product Development and Engineering, and Director of Business Development. From 2002 to 2004, Yuen served as Chief Technology Officer of Bandwidth9, a telecommunications tunable laser company.&nbsp;Yuen holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. He has completed various executive education programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business in innovation, general management, finance, and leadership.
