Lumentum’s DML 25G LAN-WDM laser delivers stable, narrow-wavelength optical performance for 100G long-reach applications in data center and access networks. Operating at LAN-WDM wavelengths of 1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58, and 1309.14 nm, this indium phosphide (InP) distributed-feedback (DFB) laser is designed for use with thermoelectric cooling (TEC) to maintain precise wavelength stability between 50 °C and 55 °C. Supporting 25G operation over single-mode fiber, it provides high linearity, low chirp, and strong side-mode suppression for clean optical spectra and consistent signal integrity. Built on Lumentum’s proven InP platform and GR-468 qualified for long-term reliability, the DML 25G LAN-WDM enables cost-effective, energy-efficient transmitters for 100G LR4 QSFP28 optical modules, enabling scalable optical performance for high-density, long-reach interconnects.
